Left Behind: The Movie is directed by Emmy-award-winning director Victor Sarin and stars Kirk Cameron (best known for his starring role in the television series "Growing Pains") as reporter Buck Williams. The producer is Ralph Winter, who has produced such epics as "X-Men," Star Trek IV," and "Star Trek VI."

Airplane pilot Captain Rayford Steele, played by Brad Johnson (The "Marlboro Man"), can't take his eyes off his sexy flight attendant, Hattie Durham. Sure, Rayford is married, but ever since his wife became a religious nut, it's been hard to keep the home fires burning, and he's just positive Hattie is giving him the come-on...

But it's difficult to plan a romance in mid-flight, when you're on the job and peoples' lives are in your hands. Still, Rayford puts the plane on automatic pilot and heads back to the cabin to see if can get Hattie to agree to a drink after they land. And Hattie comes to him immediately as he steps through the cockpit door, but Rayford can tell at a glance romance is not on her mind. What has caused Hattie to have such a panicked look on her face?

Just who is Nicolae Carpathia? To scientist Chaim Rosensweig, he's practially the savior of the world. A charismatic leader in the United Nations, Nicolae's power increases more when he befriends Chaim, and wins the rights to Chaim's secret earth-changing discovery.
